The horn will sound continuously until the battery runs out. There is a thermal cutoff that throttles the compressor if you hold past the duty cycle, which protects the pump on long blasts.
Is the 150 dB rating real or marketing?
Measured at one meter from the trumpet mouth, not at twenty meters with the wind helping. Real-world dB drops with distance, like every horn on the planet.
How far does the remote actually reach?
Up to 160 ft line-of-sight. Walls, vehicles, and metal between you and the horn will reduce range — but in open conditions, the entire parking lot is yours.
