Warranty Information
At Train Horn Drill, we stand behind every product we ship. Every Train Horn Drill unit is backed by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failures that occur under normal operating conditions, giving you confidence that your investment is protected from day one.
What's Covered
Our standard 1-year limited warranty covers defects and failures that result from the manufacturing process or standard component wear under normal use. Covered issues include:
- Manufacturing defects — any structural or assembly flaw present at the time of purchase
- Electronics failure — circuit board issues, wiring faults, or electrical component failure that occur under normal operating conditions
- Motor failure — compressor or drive motor failure that is not caused by misuse, overloading, or unauthorized modifications
- Wireless remote malfunctions — the included wireless remote is covered under the same terms as the main unit for electronics and component failure
If your product fails due to any of the above reasons within 12 months of purchase, we will work with you to make it right. See our Resolution Process section below for details on how we handle approved claims.
What's NOT Covered
To keep our warranty fair and sustainable for all customers, the following situations are not covered under the standard limited warranty:
- Cosmetic wear from rough handling — scuffs, scratches, or surface marks resulting from improper storage or handling
- Water damage on non-waterproof models — exposure to moisture, rain, or submersion on units not rated for waterproof use
- Non-OEM battery damage — any damage caused by the use of third-party or non-approved batteries not sourced from Train Horn Drill
- Unauthorized modifications — any alteration to the unit's original design, components, or firmware
- Physical abuse or accidental drops — damage resulting from being dropped, struck, crushed, or otherwise physically mishandled
- Third-party repair attempts — any damage or failure resulting from repairs performed by unauthorized service providers
- Lost wireless remotes — lost remotes are not covered under warranty; replacement remotes are available for purchase separately
- Trumpet cosmetic damage from abuse — trumpets are considered wear parts. While minor surface scratches are a normal part of use and are not warrantable, significant denting or deformation caused by rough handling or abuse is also excluded from coverage
Extend Your Coverage
Want an extra layer of protection? Our Extended Warranty adds an additional full year of coverage beyond the standard 1-year limited warranty, giving you a total of 2 years of peace of mind. The extended warranty covers the same defects and failures as the standard plan and is the easiest way to protect your Train Horn Drill for the long haul.

How to File a Warranty Claim
Filing a claim is straightforward. Simply send an email to warranty@trainhorndrill.com and include the following information:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the product and the issue
- A brief description of the failure — what happened, when it started, and how the product was being used
Our warranty team responds to all claims within 2 business days. Please do not ship any product back to us until you have received instructions from our team, as unauthorized returns may delay your resolution.
Warranty Resolution
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we will resolve the issue in one of the following ways, depending on the nature of the problem and current parts availability:
- Repair — we will fix the defective unit and return it to you
- Replacement — we will send a replacement unit of equal or comparable value
- Refund — in cases where repair or replacement is not possible, we will issue a refund
