  • Park somewhere warm for 30–60 minutes. A garage that sits above freezing clears most iced horns with zero effort. This is the safest fix there is.
  • Use warm air, not hot metal. A hair dryer on low, aimed into the trumpet bells and at the valve body, works fast. Keep it moving — concentrated heat on one spot can warp plastic components.
