I use it to announce my leaving any boat slip and to warn other vessels of my location and intentions.
Shipping was fast and the product is as advertised. I like that the remote is radio frequency and not IR. It works through doors etc. Easy to assemble and using standard Ryobi batteries is nice. Three things I would have liked to see as improvements are: 1. Some metal flashing left on the castings of the compression drivers for the horns. Should have been removed during manufacturing QC. 2. The case of the drill doesn’t exactly fit the compressor. Don’t has an uneven gap. Again a bit of a QC issue. Both not huge deals. 3. The horn lengths determine the pitches if the horns. They should be made to approximate the chords made by common train engines, like Amtrak or freight lines. As delivered the pitches are higher. I realize that would make the machine longer, but I would specify the pitches of the various configurations and offer them to match certain train horn typical configurations.
My name is Roman, I am handicapped and use a scooter to get around. I bought the train horn to sit in my basket to get drivers attention quickly so they don't run me over. I already used it once and it scared the shit out of the careless driver! Lol
Insanely loud! Feel bad using it in traffic, but if you have a weak heart don't mess up in traffic!
i love it. So loud and remote is great for remote blasts to scare whatever. thanks for the great product!
